A while ago, we found out that Thrillist ranked each state by how good their food was. For New Jersey, you have to think we’re going to rock for this to really work.
After all, we have some of the best Italian restaurants around us, the best pizza you can find anywhere, the best bagels ever made, and we are the diner capital of the world. And all fresh seafood! We have to be top 5, right?
If so, prepare to be disappointed. Again, New Jersey is far lower than we should be in the national polls, and some in the Garden State may find this downright insulting.
Garden State ranks 30th when compared to all other states in the country. No, it’s not a typo. Ranked 30th. are you kidding me
No disrespect to other states. I am sure this wonderful country has great food. But I can’t help but think that the only way New Jersey foods can rank his 30th is if you’ve never eaten New Jersey foods.
