Police in South Brunswick are seeking information on a woman who may be at risk.
Police responded to Route 130 near a Dayton Toyota dealership after reports of a woman screaming for help around 2 p.m. Wednesday, officials said.
Witnesses told police they saw a woman inside the cab of a white tractor trailer.
“When witnesses started heading towards the car, the woman was pulled back into it and it sped off 130 degrees south,” says Det. Sergeant Timothy Hoover.
Hoover said the truck then exited the highway via the Ridge Road exit. According to him, the truck was “likely a 2006 to 2018 Volvo or Mack Bobtail he truck. At the time, it didn’t have a trailer.”
The woman was Caucasian or Hispanic in her twenties, with long brown hair and a brown flannel shirt.
The truck driver was described as an elderly Caucasian man who was bald, had a white beard, and wore a blue shirt.
Police say they view this as a domestic dispute situation. They have already received some hints.
